Traditional meat production requires large amounts of land, water, and feed.
According to research by CE Delft, cultivated meat has the potential to dramatically reduce these requirements by producing meat directly from cells.
Future commercial-scale production could use significantly less land (95%) and water (78%) while reducing greenhouse gas emissions (93%) compared with conventional livestock farming.
